Come on in
We’ve spent a lot of time over the past year sharing what’s happening at the corner of Main Street and Highway 63.
There have been construction updates, old bricks and hotel stones, new windows, railings, furniture deliveries and plenty of photos taken through a construction fence.
Next weekend, you can finally come inside.
On Sunday, October 4, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we’re opening The Lumber Exchange for a Community Open House. It’s free, open to everyone and there’s no need to RSVP.
Come wander around. Head upstairs and see the coworking spaces and offices. Check out the meeting rooms and theater. Walk onto the balcony overlooking Main Street. Spend some time in the courtyard. Take a closer look at all the little details we’ve been talking about for the past year.
We’ll have people around to show you through the building and answer questions, but this isn’t meant to be complicated. We just want our neighbors to come see the place.
First, a thank you
Our Grand Opening weekend actually begins on Saturday, October 3, with a private celebration and ribbon cutting for the crews, craftspeople, partners and others who helped us get here.
There are a lot of people behind this building. Saturday is our chance to get them together under one roof and say thank you.
Then, at 11:00 Sunday morning, we’ll open the doors again. This time, for everyone.
What happens after the weekend
Coworking officially begins the week of October 5, with memberships and day passes available.
The espresso bar will follow in early November, when our walk-up counter opens to the public.
Those are big milestones, and we’re excited for both of them. But first, we’d really just like to show you around.
